Tom Mitchell’s energy and excitement are evident when he tells people his goal is to always learn as much as possible and improve his skills, so customers are always treated thoughtfully, ethically and professionally.
Tom works with customers to meet their design build electrical needs in all areas -- industrial, commercial and residential for new construction and remodeling. It also is involved with bidding and project managing designed projects and overseeing service and emergency work.
Tom graduated from Hudson High School and Northwestern Technical Institute in Green Bay Wisconsin. He loves spending time with his wife, Terese, and daughter, Leah. Tom enjoys all outdoor activities and sports, especially winter sports because of construction season. He down hill and cross country skis and used to play hockey. Now he just loves to skate. Tom also golfs and plays competitive volleyball. Hunting and fishing are also on his agenda, but Leah is a priority over sports. Tom’s been on various boards and committees and is presently on the Village of North Hudson, Wisconsin, Planning Commission.
Tom received his education in electrical at North Western Technical Institute in Green Bay. Over the years he’s attended various code enhancement and lighting classes along with seminars for specialized power systems and surge protection systems. Most of what he’s learned has been on the job as an electrician and foreman (1971-1991) and as a project manager (1991 to the present).
If you could be the main character in any movie, who would it be and why? Harrison Ford, because he reminds me of me!
You just won the lottery! What's the first thing you would buy?
I’d build a cabin on our lake lot. The nylon cabin thing has gotten pretty tough since we adopted Leah. She needs a nylon cabin for herself and her stuff, so guess who sleeps outside.
If someone came looking for you where would be the first three places to look?
The first place would be at home, lying on the floor playing with my daughter Leah while my wife admonishes me for getting her too excited. I’m Leah’s best toy! The second place would be at work, and the third would be relaxing at the lake with my family and friends.
